It's Easy Bein' Green - Sauteed Green Beans!

Kermit the frog once sang to us, "It's not easy being green" ... but when it comes to veggies, it turns out it IS easy bein' green!

Our Friendgiving menu features a SUPER simple, stovetop recipe for sautéed green beans, and it just doesn't get any easier that this:
  1. Heat up a pan.
  2. Toss in Roasted Garlic Infused Oil, green beans and Onion Onion™ Seasoning.
  3. Sauté for 5 minutes and VOILA! Delicious, nutritious green beans!
You can do the same thing with asparagus, zucchini, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, broccoli and even non-green veggies like peppers or mushrooms. We often do a combination of veggies and they are all so delish.

If you are prepping for a big gathering – like Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving – you can combine all of the ingredients in a resealable bag the day before, then just cook them up when you need them. No fuss, and it's stovetop, so you don't need to worry about oven space.

So this week ... eat your veggies! Because it's EASY bein' green.

  • You may use fresh or frozen green beans for this recipe.
  • They are also delicious broiled – mix as directed and broil for a few minutes – watch closely so they don’t burn.
  • I often toss in a little Seasoned Salt and Garlic Pepper Seasoning, too!
