- In large bowl, combine Nana's Apple Cake Mix, butter, Creamy Caramel Sauce and egg. Mix until well combined and dough is formed. Form into ¾-inch balls. Refrigerate 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place 4-6 dough balls on a large greased baking sheet (dough will spread to a very thin cookie as it bakes). Bake 14-15 minutes.
- Top each cookie with 4 chocolate chips immediately upon removing from oven. Let stand 1 minute. Spread chocolate over cookie.
- Let cool on pan 2-3 minutes. Remove to cooling rack; cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 30 cookies.
Make Ahead & Freeze
: Prepare through step 1. Place between sheets of Press 'n Seal® plastic, sealing around each dough ball. Place sheets of dough in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 2.
