Chocolate Walnut Cookies Recipe

Empty pound cake mix into a large bowl. Add the egg, melted butter and walnuts and mix until well-blended. With clean hands, shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes ( tops will be cracked a bit, like brownies). Don't over bake. Remove from oven and cool for a few minutes then remove with a spatula and place on wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 36 cookies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from chewy, chocolatey, delicious! Made these in a pinch because my husband requested dessert, and I had all the ingredients on hand. Threw in a handful of mini chocolate chips for good measure :) Baked at 325 for 15 minutes, didn't want to over bake like the recipe said. They came out PERFECTLY. Very yummy! Definitely recommend.
