  • 8 Tbsp. melted butter, divided
  • 1 cup sour cream, divided

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine 6 Tbsp. melted butter and Topping Mix. Stir in ¼ cup sour cream. Set aside. Combine Cake Mix, 2 Tbsp. melted butter and ¾ cup sour cream; mix until sticky dough forms. Stir in half of the prepared topping; pat dough into greased 8 x 8 baking pan. Spread the remaining topping over top of cake. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes about 13 servings. More ways to mix it up: Stir ½ cup cinnamon chips into batter. Dollop slices of cake with a scoop of apple pie filling and whipped topping. Stir in ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts.
