Preheat oven to 400°. Combine Crust Mix, water and 2 Tbsp. olive oil; dough will be sticky. Cover loosely with plastic wrap; let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Grease a 12-inch pizza pan* with oil. Lightly oil hands to prevent sticking, and press dough into the pan. Bake 10 minutes. Combine Sauce Mix, remaining 1 Tbsp. olive oil and tomato sauce; spread over warm crust. Add your favorite toppings. Bake 17-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Makes about 6 servings.
For a softer crust, no need to pre-bake/par-bake the crust before adding the sauce and your favorite toppings. Bake at 400o for 17-20 minutes.
*Pizza stone may be used; no oil necessary.
More Ways to Mix It Up!
• For a stuffed crust pizza, sprinkle ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese around the edges of the dough. Roll up edges, and brush with olive oil. Bake as directed.
• For mini pizzas, divide dough into 12 pieces and press into greased muffin tins. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Top with sauce and toppings; bake an additional 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
