  1. In large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté bacon until crisp; remove to paper towels. Drain off drippings.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add remaining ingredients to skillet; warm gently, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in bacon. Salt and pepper as desired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quick & easy beans I cut this recipe in half for my family of 4 (2 of them young kids) and didn't do the bacon step! I had about a tablespoon of leftover chopped bacon I added when I combined the ingredients in saucepan. Beans got two thumbs up from everyone, even the kiddos.
